$7849 gross sales Nov 20&21 Booksale! MANY thanks to the volunteers, library staff, patrons, donors, and key organizers
Joan Larson and Marsha Skinner.
This is the largest amount the Friends have taken in for several years, back
to the times when we held only two booksales a year (now we usually have five) and before we sold choicest items online. Despite rain! Despite selling an estimated 1500 volumes in the beloved BAG SALE - grocery bags into which the
happy buyers could cram about 30 books - by paying $3 bag.
In addition to the frenzy Saturday and Sunday,
setting up took volunteers all day Friday and parts of Saturday and Sunday mornings before opening. Monday the remainders
were stacked in the Edith Stone Room awaiting a long list of charities and teachers who make appointments so volunteers can
help them select items for free. Remainders of the remainders will be set out for "FREE" for the public, possibly
as soon as Tuesday.

We are hard at work to prepare for a two day sale Saturday Nov 20 and Sunday Nov 21. The Community Center's large room
will overflow with $.50 books, AND the Edith Stone Room will be full of "Collectible, Rare, and Vintage" items.
Weather permitting, there will be magazines and library discards outside in the north entrance, most at 5/$1.
Patrons have been known to do all their holiday shopping at our November CRV sale!
