We need your (ok condition) books and/or YOU...
Donations of books and other media in acceptable condition are welcome inside the library whenever the library is open. Do NOT leave books outside the library. What's "acceptable" condition? Intact bindings and pages, no writing or highlighting, no rippling or damp from basements or rain or bathtub outings. IMPORTANT: we cannot use books that smell or are mildewed, these are health hazards and will contaminate other books. We don't like to throw away any book but we have to pitch those that will harm us or our stored items. Please donate only those items which are in acceptable condition. For Friends Bi-Monthly Booksales, we need Cashiers, "Floaters" (to help keep book displays tidy and similar
tasks), and Set up and Clean up help. It takes a while to learn how to do this so we ask for volunteers who can commit to at least two hours per week,
most weeks. We sort books into 45 different subject/price categories for $.50 and dollar books alone - the great majority
of our donations!
