Each summer the Albany Branch Manager provides the Board of the Friends of the Albany
Library with a proposed list of programs, materials, and projects the Friends could fund.
Typically FAL donates up to $40,000 a year for programs and materials at the Albany Library:

Teen Programs
Game Days

*Miscellaneous
Friends cull donations for materials
the library wants.
After sales, unsold books are donated
to local non-profit organizations and Bay Area teachers.
